Paul represents clients in high-stakes civil cases and matters across a wide variety of practice areas, including product liability and complex commercial litigation. His work has included briefing significant motions, developing litigation strategies, and serving on the firm’s trial team. Paul also advises clients regarding a variety of regulatory matters, including risk assessments, corporate and commercial compliance program development and implementation, clinical research compliance and related compliance program implementation, internal and external investigations, and industry operational strategies.
Paul earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. While in law school, Paul worked as a legal intern for the world’s largest pharmaceutical industry distributor where he assisted in-house counsel on numerous tasks and responsibilities, including actual and perceived risk mitigation strategies associated with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act. Paul earned his B.A. in history from Temple University and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Represent Guerbet, LLC and Liebel-Flarsheim Company, LLC in nationwide litigation regarding the companies’ Optimark® contrast dye. Plaintiffs claim that they developed a variety of injuries as a result of retaining gadolinium in their bodies following the use of the companies’ gadolinium-based contrast agent Optimark® and other contrast agents during MRI procedures. Secured dozens of voluntary dismissals, in addition to court-ordered dismissals, over the course of the litigation which is ongoing.
